FACTOR Grant! Emerging Artist…
Big news all!
I received a FACTOR grant!!! I don't know about you, but I like to think this is pretty great news... them factor grants can be darn tough to wrangle. I won the Emerging Artist FACTOR grant, and it's going to help me fund my UPCOMING ALBUM which is going to be ready early 2009!!!!

Hi, congrats. I’ve just stumbled upon your site as I am looking to get a demo Factor grant, and will be applying soon.
I was wondering if you have any tips for me in arranging the application, picking out the song to send, etc. I will be applying as an emerging artist, and will not have any management company representing me. Knowing that Factor only grants less than 10 percent of their funding to unrepresented artist, I really need to make it stand out.
