Summer at last
Ahh Sunshine! After the coldest spring on the west coast in decades, a gig in Scottsdale was just the thing. We arrived at the Pheonix airport and were whisked away to the Four Seasons Resort in Scottsdate. Delicious food, great swimming pool, lots of sun, terrific rooms, treated like a princess - I love it!! The evening event was at Los Cedros, an Arabian horse ranch. The grand piano was in the middle of a courtyard under the stars with the dinner tables all around. Must have been good 'cause I sold lots of CDs.
Next day we moved to stay the weekend with Joanie and Pete, my aunt and uncle who live in Carefree. Great house in the desert. The sunset outlines the saguaro cactus sentry on the horizon. Stuff of postcards. I'll go back in a flash.

Digging Denver, Colorado
What a great place Denver is! My first trip. No cars on the main street. Great shopping all tied together by a free bus that comes along every couple of minutes and takes me from store to store ( I LOVE shopping!). Gig was terrific, in a very cool restaurant. Amazingly nice people. One lady has already hired me to go to Mexico in November which is a great time to be there.
